Players crying as coach passes away amid match

Athletes collapsed on the field sobbing as they were informed of their manager's death throughout a contest in the Serbian SuperLiga

Team manager Mladen Zizovic suffered a collapse and underwent emergency care beside the field before being transported to medical facilities during his club's fixture at Mladost Lucani on Monday

The professional game went on but was halted shortly before the break when word of Zizovic's death got to the venue

Video of the game showed players and officials from the competing clubs in grief at the tragic information

Previously a Bosnia and Herzegovina international player, mid-forties, was recently selected manager of FK Radnicki 1923 on October 23rd

"Our club has suffered the loss of not only a outstanding specialist but most importantly a decent person, a companion, and a sportsman who, with his understanding, energy and integrity has created lasting memories on the emotions of all who knew him"

The country's soccer authority said its "football community has suffered the loss of an additional dedicated sports professional" with his demise
